Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu May all beings be happy and free sabuyoga
The benefits of yoga during pregnancy are tremendous on a physical, mental, and emotional level. Yoga during pregnancy helps promote flexibility, strength, circulation, balance, coordination, as well as relaxation. Yoga also helps enhance clarity and focus of mind. You will feel more stable, calm and in control mentally and emotionally. In this course, you will discover a new mind-body-baby awareness and connection to help you prepare for birth and motherhood. Learn how to manage your energy, sleep, discomfort, pain, and changing body as well as lower any stress and anxiety in this 6-week yoga course on Zoom for pregnancy fitness and preparation for delivery.
Each 90-minute class will cover breathing techniques, gentle yoga movements, a guided relaxation and short meditation practices. Participants will learn pelvic floor control exercises as well as exercises for strengthening and opening the surrounding musculature and pelvis. These classes will help support your changing body, prepare for birth and connect with your baby.
Each class is recorded (with teacher view only) so you can review and repeat the classes and start to incorporate a home practice. If ever you miss a session, the replay will be sent to you after our class and will be available for a month after the course. Additionally, we have an opportunity for a pre/postnatal pelvic floor workshop with
on Monday November 30th.
A physiotherapist, specializing in the pelvic floor will speak on all issues regarding pre and postnatal care as well as answer any questions you may have about the pelvic floor and pregnancy.
